Syrupy orange and candies
I absolutely adore this fragrance. It has such a distinctive, alluring scent. I love that it's not too citrusy, and that it smells like sweet orange blended with rose, jasmine and vanilla. This perfume in some ways reminds me of Angel by Thierry Mugler, I'm not sure why though. I would have added this to my collection if my best friend didn't already have it. It's her personal fragrance and because her boyfriend of 3 years gave it to her, I'll let her keep Amor Amor has her signature scent.

Amor Amor
This is really nice and I really like it! It's light, fresh and not overpowering in the least bit. I can smell the vanilla note and it's alluring and delicious! There is something very innocent and youthful about this perfume. If there is one criticism I have it's that I don't care for the bottle. The crazy metal thing on the neck of the bottle is annoying and unnecessary. A practical, regular cap would have been much better in my opinion. It's not enough to deter me from the fragrance but whoever designed the bottle should have done a better job.

Like the song
1982… I have the soundtrack of Julio Iglesias singing ‘Amor’ in his native language playing in my ear. ‘Amor… Amor… Amor…’ My mum is humming and Sunday is great. The radio programme plays this popular single a lot! It gets under my skin but somehow I never seem to like it. Perhaps because I do not understand what he is singing about. Or perhaps I already found out this is a copy…
Fast forward to 2003… Several of my friends start to wear this new Cacharel scent from the red coloured bottle. I can smell blackcurrant, mandarin, rose and musk. Nice - but never my thing.
Amor Amor is a scent that will please a lot of people. It is a fruity/floral, combining a lot of really nice and well-known notes. Perhaps that is why I still find it a bit uninventive. Like repeating an already acknowledged success. I know that sometimes the copy or new version can be better. Like Whitney Houston singing ‘I will always love you’. I am not saying this fragrance is a copy. I am just saying that this is something I feel I have smelled before. I prefer the flanker, Forbidden Kiss with its White musk, coffee and pink pepper notes.

A playful young woman discovering her sexual power
Yes, there is a cigarette and hairspray-ness to Amor Amor when first sprayed. I LOVE that about it. It gets me excited the same way I got excited when I was seventeen years old.

On my skin, it dries into red currant wine and roses. It doesn't last long but it gives me that little boost when I'm just going out for drinks with my girlfriends or whatnot. The berries are juicy and the hairspray quality feels optimistic and cosmopolitan (also why I like Gucci Rush, which is a hot mess but works BEAUTIFULLY).

For those who are young or young at heart
Lately I feel drawn to citrus frags more so than usually (even though I always love citrus frags), but this is for me stunningly lovely, and I strangely enjoy it way more now in the summertime than I did in the winter. It's like being in citrus heaven. Quite strong, definitely for leisure time for me. But it is so lush, I cannot help but love it, even though it's supposedly fitting for teenagers. Well, I am young at heart!

I love to spray my frags on the underside of my hair on the back of my neck, because whenever my hair moves, it sends waves of the scents to my nose, and each time it does it, it feels like I experience the scent anew. When I get the Amor Amor whiff, I sight with delight. A keeper for sure.

This love isn't so "passionate"or longlasting: it's a fruity and bright fragrance with a Young character and a quite weak sillage

A cute scent from the beginning, dry down is a mix of creamy and fruity that I personally don’t find impressive.

(2025 edition) A nice fruity floral topped with citrus, with sweet peach in the middle. Less syrupy and fresher than a lot of gourmands.

Super cute and super fruity. Almost a tangible and realistic juiciness to it. It just doesn't last long.

Tart, fruity, floral, mostly rose, with a hint of warmth. A successful $20 blind buy at T.J. Maxx.

To me this is very aggressively sweet, a synthetic and youthful scent with citrusy opening. Used to wear this back in 2009, still love it!

Used to enjoy the orange note here. Now, it's all synthetic jasmine to me. That's OK - L'Oreal tests on animals, so I wouldn't buy it anyway.
