Blue helium balloons
Noa Perle was so very fruity and fresh in the beginning that I feared I would not like this fragrance. I left the perfume store concluding that Noa Perle was a Summer fragrance heavily scented with citruses.

However, thirty minutes later, I was surprised by the soft florals that began to emerge. The fragrance was still considered to be fresh and clean, yet there was something about this scent that was winning me over.

Hours later I realised that I was actually enjoying wearing this fragrance. Oddly enough, in the base notes there was a rubbery, balloon-like scent, which although strange was somewhat likable.

I don't agree with the bottle design which gave me the impression that this fragrance is reminiscent of the ocean. Instead Noa Perle reminds me of Summer carnivals and fairs complete with jumping castles and fairy floss.

The lasting power is rather excellent however the sillage is not all that strong. This scent certainly would not offend making it perfect for the office or hot Summer days.

Unicorn scent or enchanted forest?
I searched for the pearl for a long time, a really, really long time. I called it my unicorn fragrance. My expectation? Delicate, magical. The combination of kumquat, freesia and hazelnut blossom inspired me to dream.
Today I finally got to test the pearl. Did I expect too much? Yes, probably! Were my expectations met? No. But wait! The pearl is still beautiful, just not wearable for me.
It starts slightly tangy, probably the kumquat, but on my skin I notice a strong green soapy note. I wonder where it comes from? The orange blossom? Nah, must be something else. Then spicy and peppery. I only know something like that from 3 Rosa. But I don't smell a rose here (yet).

After about an hour I smell something pale green, if it were a color I would say pastel green, but not the bombon-green of e.g. Kayali's bottle, but a sage-pastel green.

The fragrance diminishes in intensity, leaving a hint of ... what? Is that the hazelnut blossom? Maybe, but not ripe, and certainly not chocolaty, as has been mentioned here before. I would have liked that much better, of course. I didn't find the peonies, which is fine by me.

So, not a unicorn scent. More of a fairy enchanted garden scent: green, slightly floral and a hint of herbaceous plants on the edge. And a unicorn definitely lives here.

Thanks for reading and sorry for the mistakes

Peppered chocolate fountain
Through a swap I got to the pearl.
I immediately notice the chocolaty note. Tip on the hazelnut blossom.
Kumquat meets me also.
I know it from the garden of Monsieur Li by Hermès.
Maybe also a little pepper, before the flowers appear, again underlaid with chocolate.
For me, the chocolate - / hazelnut note is a bit too dominant.
A bit like a chocolate fountain in the spicy, liquid chocolate runs down and you dunk flowers and hazelnuts in.
All in all, a delicious fragrance, which you can not find everywhere and which just does not convince everyone. But that's also good!

My first love. Warm, comforting, like sweet skin. Homey and clean, airy. Genuinely gorgeous and soft.
