Carita Carita 1997

This perfume is from 97, but really sounds like something newer, as it is citrusy fresh and fruity. In fact the top notes are very nice, acidic and fresh but slightly sweet in the same time. Citric top notes of women's perfumes ofter remind you of colognes for men, but these are a proof of the possibility to make them soft, sweet and tender, even though fresh at the same time.

The heart is a powdery flower composition, very close to the description, there are certainly a rose and lily of the valley, very light transparent but persistant and very long lasting. It's a very tender perfume, it's not bold or invading, but very modest and discreet. Not sweet, more on the fresh side, but still slightly powdery. Again, heart notes are perfectly balanced, just as the top notes.

The base is musky, and not easy to separate, it's more of a framework for the heart accord. Becomes sweeter and warmer, more powdery with time, but always secondary, not overwhelming and only complimenting the flower composition.

This is a very nice perfume, that's a pity it's almost not known and very hard to find. If you have a possibility to buy a bottle for a decent price go for it. It is a very high quality perfume.
