More than just a winter scent

La Havane and I have known each other since the summer, when I happened to burst into the sales training of a Carven employee in the local perfume shop. The training turned spontaneously into a sales talk and I decided on L'Eau Intense as a new summery everyday fragrance and La Havane as a fragrance for special occasions.
The first contact with Havane was already something very special for me: After my nose had already been tormented by the many scent tests, I smelled something special, something protruding for the first time that day. The choice was not difficult for me. The tobacco together with pepper and orange create a heavy but at the same time beguiling spice from the beginning. With the heart note, this heaviness subsides a little - but not much. La Havane almost shows a sweet side. The tobacco is clearly joined by the rose. In contrast to most other comments, which want to feel little or nothing of rose, it is very present in my case. The heart note accompanies you the whole evening until the amber lulls you into a deep sleep (and wakes you up the next morning).

La Havane is a dreamlike scent. Certainly perfect for cold winter evenings, but definitely also suitable for hot, sultry summer evenings in front of a bar with cold cocktails. After all, it carries the DNA of Havana - and there is rarely snow. As a fragrance for special occasions like the one I was introduced to, it is definitely suitable. But it can do more. People want to wear it more often and it allows for that. Sometimes you just sit at home on the couch with a glass of wine. Dreamlike.
