When everything else is too much, too strong, too-something
Then Caudalie Thé des Vignes is perfect, I think the whole range is brilliant, except for Fleur de Vigne, but here I'm to blame, my skin doesn't like woods, not even Bloom Acqua di Fiori, everything that contains a lot of woody notes becomes somehow unpleasant, almost sour, sour mixed with pencil. And I don't know Ange des Vignes yet..

The Thé des Vignes is a delicate, special fragrance. You can't expect a long shelf life from an eau fraîche, that's clear.Eau fraîche is weaker than an edc or edt.But that's exactly what I love.Without this short shelf life, the fragrance wouldn't be what it is. A refreshing, slightly sweet, delicately floral feel-good fragrance. For me in the same category as Green Tea Eau Parfumée, a fragrance you need when all the others are too dressy, too sweet, too powdery, too floral, too something. I can easily perceive the notes, but not at all as you would expect when you look at the pyramid, imagine all the ingredients slightly filtered and very finely dosed
I prefer to apply it before going to bed or after showering, and this spray head! Omg this spray head gives me so much pleasure.I press it and the finest mist comes out.The skin is hardly moisturized,so fine is this mist. And then I just spray generously around,on the neck,on the clothes and feel pudelwohl with it.If I had to choose and could only keep 10 fragrances, then this fragrance would be there.
The bottle is simple and pretty, decorated with a grape print and looks elegant.

Unfortunately, the fragrance runs out quickly because I use so much of it. I will certainly buy it again and it should not be missing from my collection

Hazy and 'elusive'....
'Hazy' was the first word that came to my mind when trying this, purchasing 'Eau des Vinges' from the same line. It sat on my wrist for quite some time (so longevity is decent), so I could fully experience this scent.
It is not what I would wear myself, but I can imagine others liking it. It's very 'elusive', hard to describe, yet heavy on the white musk (too heavy for my likes). It almost made me a little nauseous actually. I also had sprayed some Eau des Vinges on my other wrist (before purchasing that one) and the sillage of Thé des Vinges interfered with that and that was quite nice, so I think scents from this line may be good for layering. But I'm not much into that because I always feel as though I am cheating when I layer perfumes, or insulting the 'noses' that created them :-). Anyhow, I would recommend testing before buying unless you are sure all scents that are heavy on white musk, are what you prefer. (though this is very different than, say, White Musk from the Body Shop or White Musk from Laura Ashley....).
I did not detect any tea in this by the way, nor did I get any spices, maybe some citrussy notes and floral notes along with the (prominent) white musk.

Clean and Calming Musk
The name of this fragrance reminded me of Fresh CITRON DE VIGNE, so on some level I think that I was half expecting to encounter another bright white wine-y citrus. In fact, Caudalie THE DES VIGNES opens, as advertised, as a refreshing, natural-smelling tea scent. The drydown, however, is a straightforward, longlasting musk. In some ways, the tea opening is more of an appetizer, and the main dish here really is musk. Clean and calming musk, not the dirty and sweaty variety.

This is not a bad fragrance at all, but it's also not very exciting or complex. This is definitely not a primarily floral perfume; it's more of a floral woody musk with a *huge* emphasis on the latter. All in all, I'd say that THE DE VIGNE is more of an aromatherapeutic composition good for calming one's frazzled nerves than a serious perfume.
