A success I do not wear
This was released the same year my son was born. One of my colleagues wore this. It was her signature scent. She loved it and introduced me to it. I did not like it but could not bear to tell her.
I acknowledge the craftsmanship of this. I can smell with my brain and my common sense that this is a really good perfume; well composed and balanced. I just do not like it. On me it smells horrible and I feel sweaty when wearing it - and there is not even musk on the note list. It must be the woody notes.
It is quite dry and subtle and on anybody else it smells great. Even the bottle is beautiful (Serge, you did again!). I really wish I could wear it. Maybe in another life… I have a bottle in my collection because it is so successful. I just do not use it.
