Sailing Along the Atlantic Coast
If I were to describe this fragrance in a few words, I would choose "fresh sea air," "flower parade on the beach," or "blue-sky-sometimes-thunderstorm scent." Because it encompasses all of that.
I imagine myself in a glider (which I only know from "moving pictures"), and the pilot next to me is heading towards the Atlantic coast, let's say in Brittany.
A cool wind carries the light aircraft over the dunes, rocks, and small coves near the beach. Occasionally, small groves of pines or ponds covered with rushes appear. The scents are carried far and mix with those of the saltwater and nearby flower fields.
I can recognize roses, jasmine, and iris, which smell as "blue" as the sky above us and the water below. But the sky is not always blue. From time to time, brief thunderstorms with "tower clouds!" roll in, thunder and lightning appearing quickly and disappearing just as fast.
The aroma of damp grass and rain air overlays the fresh-spicy scent impressions, creating a sort of "atmosphere of freedom." I can't describe it any other way at the moment.
With moderate to good longevity and sillage, this EdT is not "rigid" or "static" in its progression but rather changeable. Yet it remains true to its "theme." At times, it can smell "electrically charged"... there is a certain tension in it. The blue varies from bluish-rose to cool turquoise to azure tones and blue-gray...
sometimes "strange" but certainly beautiful.
