Men's perfume in perfection - a union of exoticism and forest lust

The JAGUAR (for men) jumps into the full deep green and as if in slow motion he touches exotic citrus, flowery gardenia and carnation, the spice bush of basil, lavender, thyme and almost on the ground fern, fir and cedar and rests at the end of the hot day on a blanket of tobacco, musk, leather and patchouli.
A union of exoticism and forest lust.
Sprayed before going to bed, you wake up in the morning like Aladdin in a moss bed.
I don't know of any men's fragrance that is as complex and intoxicating as JAGUAR for Men.
It takes patience and love for the beauty of the highest perfume composition, if you go on this fragrance journey.
With this splendid example of an emerald deep green men's fragrance, extremist Thierry Wasser has left his perfection in green.
I have also tested the original 1988, but gee, it is really something for grandpa... (maybe too much oakmoss)!
This new green JAGUAR is one of the few successful reformulations of an 80's cracker.
Today we men are allowed to experience the lovely and purring side of the green JAGUAR and this requires intense devotion (as is the case with Felidae).
The flacon is also like a cut emerald in its reductive production. Held against the light once, most beautiful green ever!
With this JAGUAR, which I'd dug out of a box of old perfume remnants, everything started again at the beginning of 2018 (my love for perfumes and my debut at parfumo.de). I wanted to sell it again and gave it another chance overnight and, ... my sleep was worn like a Persil-Lavender-Jasmine commercial. Wow! Can I get addicted to
Tested all the flankers in known drugstores. Nah, don't bother, there's nothing good about it, the usual cucumber water stuff with JAGUAR on it.
What remains is this totally underrated JAGUAR in green, with class, highest sillage and depth to Tolkien's greenest valley. An emerald in my 80s collection.

Heroic epic with a heroic fern and sweet moss or Richard Wagner, Robin Hood and the Queen meet.

Here is my first comment. I like to write texts, but fragrance descriptions are new territory for me. I also like to try it unconventional, I am critical and love to live out my personal style. I don't know all the fragrance components of a perfumer. Well, let me just start
To the fragrance:

Top note:
farny fresh notes, rain showers in the oak forest

Heart note:
rich green deciduous forest, fine light moss, ivy, carnation

Base note:
Oakmoss, carrot, damp leaves, fresh tobacco leaf, tree bark, ambergris

medium-long lasting. Noticeable on clothing even days later.

Flacon & outer design:
Very simple but beautiful. There are different varieties of this variety, as well as reformulations. Packaging made of cardboard. Flacon made of medium-weight glass with plastic lid in two known versions (burl wood look with golden jaguar head / silver with line engraving), as well as a lid version in real wood. Description:
The fragrance can be described as classic. Immediately after spraying on, the "green" mossy scent cloud develops, transforming the room into a small deciduous forest. One has the feeling that it has just rained fresh and one is in a lush green deciduous forest in Europe. If you close your eyes, are you perhaps in the British Isles? Do you think of noble sports cars setting off on a tour to Stonehenge, or of Robin Hood's friends?
Bastei bridge on the Hohnstein in the Saxon Switzerland maybe. The painting "Wanderer over the sea of fog" by Caspar David Friedrich comes to my mind. In addition an overture by Richard Wagner.
It sounds like real heroes. Jaguar Men is not for hesitant and doubtful wearers.
It is designed for wearers who know what they want and who stand up for something, no matter what others think of it.
Perhaps the scent also makes you think of a cranky old man who is stubborn and serious and ekes out a hermit's life in a moss-covered forest hut. Possibly in the Canadian woods. It is simply a natural scent close to the forest, as I have never smelled it before.
I would like to explain how I got the title. I'm sure many people are familiar with the painting "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". It shows James Dean, Marilyn, Humphrey and Elvis in a bar Analogously, I imagine Richard Wagner, Goethe, the British Queen, King Solomon, Napoleon and Robin Hood. Together they sit at the same table and hold lively discussions that span time and culture. But this meeting does not take place in a bar, but in a small clearing in the forest, flooded with sunshine. A fresh, but nevertheless strong, harsh and woody-mossy breeze envelops the protagonists.
It smells of wisdom, experience, decency, greatness, grace and strength in the middle of green nature.
For teenagers, the fragrance is certainly not suitable, because it is too self-confident and steadfast, too spicy and tart.
The wearer knows exactly what he wants. It's not a show-off scent

Occasion:
Podium, give a speech, round of negotiations, sign a contract, wellness in nature, reading, listening to classical music.

Age recommendation:
Not under 35. Whereby that is a matter of taste and experience.
Young people do not have enough life experience to represent the fragrance seriously. That works then as put on.

that he's being so damned up at the drugstore is a little unjustified for me.
As Guerlain Foxhound he would go over the counter for 65 EUR.
The new edition is better than the original by the way - the oak moss looked a little bit like grandpa haft.
It starts extremely bitter, almost poisonous (lilac ?), totally green and completely unsweet and only a little bit citric.
That's a bit strict at first but doesn't bother me personally in the morning/afternoon/evening.
As basis, after approx. 1 ½ h remains an incomparable, somewhat tobacco like, slightly purple seeming lilac or violet impact, which on the skin, especially when it gets colder, looks like a deep, bitter fresh fountain to me. Sandalwood soothes the "poisonous" character, which I like though. At the very end the Tonka bean comes through clearly warming. The whole thing lasts the whole day/evening and is clearly perceptible far later. This combination of poisonous and warm it is, I think, that gives it a completely independent touch.
I think the Jaguar is hot, sharpest when it's cold - the oils could be a bit better.

Actually I like the Jaguar fragrances, especially the two pace. OK, it was a blind buy for 10€, so not the end of the world. But it's my own fault if I rely so blindly on the (positive) comments.

I find the top note not only soapy, but really disgustingly green! Smells like shit in a fir glade!
H/S is also still long lasting, which I would gladly do without in this head and heart note. After about 5 hours the base note comes through, which then also develops quite pleasantly. Tobacco, leather and some fir and a few other green notes. The ending is actually how I imagined the whole scent. Too bad it takes so long, otherwise my evaluation would have been better. Nu,At least the bottle is nice green :-D
Too bad, I was really hoping for something better :-/

Exquisite green premium essence from the deepest forests

This fragrance smells tremendously high in relation to its price. Intense and long-lasting. A unique and classic. It no longer fits into the fashionable world of today's fragrances and would not be advertised by any Youtube influencer. He looks male and dominat but also very aggressive in the first hour. I like it in a certain way, but I would only wear it if I didn't want to maintain social contacts.

This fragrance is perfect for hunters who sit on the high stand in the morning with a bottle of Jägermeister in the foggy damp forest and wait for wild game. Jaguar for Men smells unbelievably soapy green. For woods, for bitter mosses and lichens. A fragrance for nature lovers. You associate it with something old-fashioned. No wonder because it is a typical 80s fragrance. Caretaker Krause would wear this scent if he dressed up in uniform and went to the board meeting of the Dachshund Breeding Club. Also suitable for binge drinking of arch-conservative beating student fraternities when you go to a pub with old men, but not when there are women around or when you want to pick up a woman in the same evening. This fragrance is also a great match for the military. Whether simple soldier in camouflage suit or officer in fine thread at men's events in the officers' home. However, in covert military operations (as performed by Rambo) you should not wear the scent. It's too strong, too intense, and the Sillage stretches for miles. The enemy would track you down and shoot you in the ambush.

I also associate this scent with British landed gentry. During a hike in the Scottish Highlands I could also imagine him on me (attractive single women are usually not there anyway). An older British granny would certainly like the scent at Tea Time very much for me. It also goes well with an old dark green vintage Jaguar. Optimal to spray on the leather seats. In the Alps I wouldn't wear the scent while hiking or on a via ferrata. There are just too many attractive women out there. I don't want to scare them away.

I would never wear that scent on a Tinder Date. The woman would in all probability reject me already during the greeting and embrace and cough loudly. Maybe she'd even run away. This is not a Womanizer scent. If you are looking for a very individual natural high class premium fragrance that is anything but mainstream, you should try Terre d'Hermes. Elegant, long-lasting and gently coming, citric, earthy, woody. Jaguar for Men, on the other hand, is a club. If a Tinder Date gets out of hand because it's not going forward but time passes, the woman is inappropriate or the cost keeps rising, Jaguar for Men can stop the date with an emergency stop. It acts as an emergency exit. It's best to carry a mini atomizer with you, go to the toilet for a short while and fully diesel up. Then you're guaranteed to get rid of the woman.
