fresh and sophisticated
Massimo by Christian Provenzano is a sophisticated and captivating fragrance that embodies the essence of elegance and refinement. It opens with fresh, invigorating citrus notes, which gradually give way to a heart of aromatic spices and herbs, creating a warm and inviting scent profile. The base notes are rich and complex, featuring deep woody accords and subtle hints of leather, giving the fragrance a masculine and timeless appeal. Massimo is perfect for those who appreciate a well-balanced scent that exudes confidence and charm, suitable for both day and evening wear.

An Incredible Composition
A base that is both fresh and herb-spicy with a slightly citrus-fruity background.

The combination of cardamom and pepper is present for me the whole time, but never unpleasant or piercing. Sometimes I smell more of the bergamot, other times it’s a softer, fruitier note (perhaps the connection with musk?). The ingredients never come across as synthetic.

As Fabian described below, this fragrance brings compliments. I have been wearing it for about a month - I have been approached about this scent more often than any other. (The reactions have been exclusively positive :D)

Personally, I also like to layer the fragrance with Rocca - the Massimo gives the raspberry bomb a very attractive base.

In summary, I find that this fragrance is an incredibly well-balanced composition of very naturally smelling components!

This fragrance brings compliments!
I have rarely received more compliments for a fragrance. Perhaps it’s precisely because it is different. The scent notes are all very natural and subtle, yet the overall composition is very intentional and strong in presence. To me, it smells like a spa day, sauna infusion, and a winding down of the day. I consider it one of the fragrances for late summer and autumn.

Pepper that you won't smell in the kitchen
Well, I guess it's time for my first review :)

Let's go through it chronologically and start with the packaging.
Here, one has to ask the question, what more could be improved?
Starting from the packaging to the embedding of the bottle and the cap of the sprayer.

The only allowed complaint at a high level would be that Massimo doesn't offer a real difference compared to other fragrances from the brand Christian Provenzano.
Alright, now to the most important part:

At the beginning, the bergamot makes its presence known, but in my opinion, the pepper is definitely in the spotlight here. Both at the opening and during the drydown.
I'm not entirely sure about the H/S.
On clothes and with close "sniffing," the scent is definitely noticeable all day, but for someone who wants to draw the attention of the entire room, it's definitely the wrong choice.

Personally, I prefer to wear the fragrance in combination with a clothing style of at least business casual.
In general, it's definitely a great office scent that you can hardly go wrong with and still smells unique.
Oh yes, price/performance...

Fortunately, I was able to secure Massimo with a 20% discount on Black Friday, but if we consider the regular price of 289,- for 100ml, that's quite a statement.

Definitely not a blind buy.

This is a clone of Clive Christian X with better performance and more refined then X. I would choose this over X.

Fresh, juicy cardamom flavored with a hint of cinnamon, after a touch of citrus freshness, prefers bright resin. Very modern.

Very soft pepper, great overall composition, a CC X Men in a much more elegant way. A scent direction that is very rarely smelled.

For me, the green facets of cardamom are a bit too sharp and don't blend seamlessly into the cinnamon-warm resin base.

A rounded incense scent without church connotations, beautifully intertwined with cardamom, allspice, and resins of all kinds. Sociable and sophisticated!

Sharp start, first dry/spicy with smoky hints. Over time it becomes softer, leathery/resinous. Cinnamon + musk are seductive, I like it!

At first, a cardamom-cinnamon bomb with a hint of citrus, then it becomes slightly leathery wrapped in a touch of sweetness. Elegant scent, recommendation.

Less sharp ginger and cardamom than the original, but more sweet incense and fewer edges. If you like X, it's worth a try.
