It is the evening of the day
It is the evening of the day...
I'm sitting watching children play..
We were invited to a summer party,
chic, in the little black.
Slowly the evening comes to an end.
The many conversations,
the volume,
a little too much.
I'm gonna back off a little bit,
to the garden,
and watch the children playing on the warm summer evening.
They exude a slightly soapy, aldehyde-fresh scent.
The mood is cheerful, homey,
despite their liveliness not disturbing.
There is a slight sweetness in the air.
Melancholy comes over me
in the memory of my own childhood,
cheerful, light-hearted.
A smile is on my lips I deeply suck in the still warm air of the late summer.
Jasmine, rose grow further back in the garden.

and climbs on my lap.
