Very similar to A*Men
Cuba prestige is indeed very similar to A*Men so it gets a 0/10 for originality but on the other hand it is a very nice sweet smelling fragrance and almost as potent as A*Men, but maybe a little less harsh. Good value for money :)

Perfect for...Halloween?
It's an A*Men clone, alright. But despite the lack of patchouli and coffee, it's staggeringly close for the price. So why not go nuts on the trigger, especially on Halloween? After all, it smells like candy, caramel, chocolate, zingy weirdness and all in a diabolically dreadful 100 mL bottle. You don't need to trick anybody to enjoy this treat. It's so cheap, that someone might as well drop it in your goodie bag for free. And best of all, it doesn't make you fat and sick. Well....unless you drink it of course, which I don't advise.

Don't expect 100% of A*men either. It's basically the drydown only. Very sweet and can give you a headache in the heat. Save it for cool weather and spray your clothing for better projection. It's definitely my favourite from the Cuba line along with Gold, both of which are probably the only two worth getting. As kitsch as it might sound, I have backup bottles of both (hell, why not?) just because of the price. Reformulations be damned. This baby was around long before the clone wars started. In fact, I already have another clone of A*Men and there's a pretty good contender in the Estiara line at a comparable price, so keep on the lookout. In a year or two, expect another one to be on top.

But until then, I still consider Prestige to be one of the kings of value, and perfect for Halloween. It just smells like a dentist's dream.

Not that bad
Prestige is the only Cuba perfume that I have left in my collection. Not only because they successfully copy one of my favorite fragrances, A*Men by Mugler and Cuba Prestige, it allows me to save on using the original too often.
I also appreciate Prestige because, compared to other tested fragrances from the brand - Gold, Royal and Red - Prestige is of better quality, less synthetic and has better parameters, which is worth noting at such a low price.
Prestige has completely different notes than A*Men, but the similarity is very strong, especially in the opening. For a long time, it smells similar to Mugler, although of course this is not an A*Men-level development.
Prestige is linear, devoid of depth, much flatter, but it is made exceptionally well in this price range. It can be used as a good substitute for Mugler, e.g. when we want to go to the store or take a walk with the dog in winter. It smells very similar in the air and to outsiders.
It's sweet, vanilla, caramel and fudge, but you won't feel the coffee or patchouli or the complexity of the original here.
On the other hand, what is happening with the current Mugler releases is far from what A*Men used to be, and against this background, Cuba's proposal is not much worse, especially in terms of parameters, but in terms of quality, Mugler is still a much higher shelf.
The parameters are really good, much better than other Cuba products. I don't know what the current releases are, apparently something was messed with in Prestige some time ago. I have a bottle from a few years ago and it's solid.
What surprised me most of all was the very good durability compared to other Cuba fragrances. It stays on the skin for about 7-8 hours without any problems, and the projection is also quite decent. This is the only fragrance Cuba actually designs and even for more than an hour it leaves quite a tail behind.
You can feel a certain common nuance here, characteristic of all Cuba perfumes, a synthetic retro note, but it is much more subdued and does not offend as in the case of, for example, Gold.
The bottle is ugly and not particularly cigar-shaped, the atomizer is also quite poor in use, but at the low price for 100 ml, Prestige is a really worth considering proposition. The quality of the ingredients is obviously not amazing, but it is a surprisingly good alternative to Mugler for pennies

A massive performer for the price. "A*men and A*men"
Purchased from : Ross
Price Paid : $8.99
Format : 3.4 oz bottle
Method : both arms, wearing today

The initial spray is a BLASTWAVE of scents. Very aldehydic, and gives off strong minty anise mouthwash notes. In fact, since the first time I sprayed it, I have always pictured the original colored Listerine/knock-off mouthwash (brown). Underneath that, you get a lemony sweetness and very strong day-old caramel-chocolate brownies from a tin. As it settles down, the aroma is decidedly chocolatey, with hints of caramel, english toffee, juicy black currant, anise, and spearmint.

The sillage is huge, and so is the projection. I get 6" off the skin for the first hour. It dies to 2" for the rest of the journey.

This cologne lasts an impressive 6 hours on me, with 3 sprays on each arm and one on the chest. (This was admittedly an over-spray.)
That's outstanding for a $9 bottle of cologne. It's pretty intimate for that last hour, but it's still hanging around.

This can easily, easily be oversprayed. I mean one extra spray can push you over to fogging out an elevator or a small office. Take extra caution.

Cuba Prestige is a weird one, because it's both minty and lemony and chocolatey. It's not for everyone, and I still hate it sometimes. Regardless, it's a total BEAST of a fragrance and should be strongly considered by everyone for its extremely fair price point.

Surprisingly good
Today I woke up inspired after a very rainy and cool morning, I decided to give this perfume a chance. I simply loved this perfume!

At the ideal temperature it is an excellent perfume, I would say it does well at temperatures below 20ºC. It wasn't sickening, but super comfortable and pleasant. Today, the aromas of ambergris, labdanum and lavender remain longer.

Here's a tip: use in moderation (just 1 spray on each hot spot on your body) and in the ideal climate. Prestige is different from other Cuban perfumes, which only last 4-6 hours and you need to spray it carefully. This one breaks that rule and if you carry too much it becomes very uncomfortable, it's too much.

Very good, especially for its price range.

Tacky bottle, the worst cap I've ever encountered. Simpler A*Men, sweet! Really good longevity and projection for a cheapie - $6 (SIX USD)!

Sweet and woody. It starts with chocolate and vanilla mixed with roasted coffee. Similar to A*Men (Cuba Prestige is the poor version).

Spicy, definitely with a certain sweetness. But roasted almond only with a lot of imagination! Beautiful unisex winter scent!

Very sweet, interesting blackcurrant note. Overall, though, a bit musty.

I paid 8 euros. And I think it’s great. But I don’t really find that it smells like Angel A Men. I have that one too.

Smells like a vanilla sauna infusion. Those a bit older can definitely pull it off.
