VERY surprising for the price - SUPER GOOD !!!
Due to the fragrance components of this perfume, I bought the XXL blind. I must, however, mention that it is not directly the Cuba XXL, but rather the Diamond Parfums XXL, which is supposedly made by Cuba. This EDT is produced in Germany and costs only 15 euros. I thought the scent would be good, but that the longevity and sillage would leave something to be desired, but ... I was far off !!! The XXL reminds me, at least after a waiting period, of Joop Homme or somewhat of the Signature by Otto Kern. Well, which perfume can match the longevity and sillage of Joop Homme? For me, Joop lasts more than 24 hours, even after showering - simply incredible. Other perfumes like Kokorico, Signature, Royal Oud by Creed give up on me after just 3-4 hours. Of course, this varies with every skin type. But I was all the more surprised that the XXL is easily present even after 12 hours. The top note, which is initially citrusy and fresh, fades quite quickly, but then the cinnamon, jasmine, and especially the vanilla quickly make their presence known, which later barely transforms into tonka bean. Amber and musk are also there, along with a bit of sandalwood. This perfume is absolutely underrated, just like the other scents from Cuba, which used to be more expensive. I therefore recommend this perfume to anyone looking for a good oriental scent at a low price that also lasts quite a long time. It really borders on audacity to release this perfume on the market for such a price.
