A nice coniferous aromatic fragrance

I love the scent of coniferous forest but I am ever terrified when this is reproduced in a perfume because the risk to have another '70/80s shower gel is just around the corner.
Winter Nights fortunately spares me this torture. The balsamic wood scent is well balanced with the light smokiness in it which helps the scent to stay pleasant and close to the reality.
The musk and the lavender then evoke a cold and dry weather, a crispy air all around you.
It is a well done fragrance even if not so versatile with a good performance.
I ventured in an overseas blind-buy but I didn't regret it.

sylvan vining darkness

Winter Nights from Dasein has long been a favorite of mine but I’ve struggled with how to talk about it. On the surface, it feels very similar to the treetop spiderwebs and seething silver sparks of the stars blinking in the vast darkness above the midnight blooming forest that I smell in Norne from Slumberhouse. It *is* similar to that, but I have to think about it and talk about it in different terms. It’s both the glitter of crushed emeralds and void of black tourmaline shards. If you’re a Magic the Gathering enthusiast, this fragrance is a green/black deck. The unbridled verdancy of monstrous plants and coniferous land cards that enter the battlefield tapped, alongside the option to bring all of your zombies and undead beast out of the graveyard. If none of that means anything to you, it’s a smoky cardamom cola with a dash of fir and hemlock bitters, that makes you feel like a witchly mixologist in a swanky speakeasy deep in the woods where even if you knock thrice and whisper tree-ish to the pine, the door might not open to you if it doesn’t sense the sylvan vining darkness in your heart.

The Fireside Room

Soon it will be here again, the time to make oneself cozy and snug. Imagining sitting in a rocking chair, wrapped in a soft blanket, with my feet snugly wrapped inside. The chair is in front of a fireplace, where the crackling, warm fire burns softly, "captivating" you.
In hand, a cup of steaming tea, the Christmas star on the windowsill, and outside, thick snowflakes are falling, looking like cotton puffs.
It smells of burning wood, as if fresh pine needles were thrown into the fire. Ethereal, green, and aromatic. Freshly spicy, as if one has just come in from the forest. Warm from cardamom, juicy and spicy. The lavender surrounds you with a feeling of well-being, slightly sweet and with a hint of floral notes, and musk embraces you, quickly becoming intimate. It feels cozy because these scent notes convey a sense of being at home. Isn't it lovely to be able to make oneself comfortable? Winter Nights is a wonderful, spicy-warm fragrance. On men, it will certainly be a bit spicier, while on us women, it is warm and soft.
I want this now... right now.

Nice and well done balsamic fragrance where the star is a quite natural conifer tree scent and the smoke is just a little supporting-actor.
