Surprise, it’s floral

I saw this described all over the internet as a clean soapy oat fragrance. It seems everyone failed to mention the heavy scary yellow floral opening. I know it’s also my fault for not looking closely at the notes before ordering a sample. So yeah, it does have kind of a classic soap smell but the floral linden blossom note dominates way more than I was expecting. Looking past that, the bathing in soapy oat milk vibe is nice. It sort of reminds me of an aveeno creamy oat body wash that I used to use as a teenager. I do enjoy the scent after an hour or two when it’s gotten slightly sweeter and creamier and everything has mellowed out. It becomes very pretty and light but I think the opening florals were a bit too jarring for me to really want to wear this again.

Sweet powdered oats

Not the biggest fan of yellow florals so this perfume is not full bottle worthy to me. I was taken aback by how potent the yellow floral is here because everyone describes this as some sort of bubble bath session that you have when your skin is in need of some TLC. I absolutely experience the essence of oats, but for me it is more of the powder version of oats mixed with slightly sweet flowers and not the grainy and nutty aspects. The best way that I picture the scent is as a kind of vintage bar soap.

Creamy floral

This is a really pretty, creamy floral. The linden blossom stands out to me the most, and it has a very creamy quality but I don’t get the soapy clean vibe I see/read in many reviews. After about an hour the linden blossom note starts to fade (but still present) and I start being able to pick up the creamy oat and musky skin scent. It’s very pretty and I enjoy the fragrance, I just didn’t expect such a strong floral opening. I don’t get aquatic at all though it’s listed as a main accord? I don’t have anything else in my collection with linden blossom and I am really enjoying this.

Soapy, clean crisp. But the linden blossom takes over and makes it smell like a 90s perfume. Oatmilk and oats are only at the top if you search for it
