The Green Mile - As safe as the green thumb
If there's something I don't have, it's a God-given green thumb
Whatever I do with flowers, plants, etc. somehow gets lost.
Therefore I have - especially for the sake of the plants - long since stopped trying again.
It is wonderful that I have discovered a fragrance at Demeter/The Library of Fragrance that makes me feel like I am surrounded by nature.
Here the work on the "green stuff" is packed into a bottle and this is amazingly authentic.
What I am also not good at is distinguishing flowers by their smell. Yes, one or the other stands out here and there but I don't presume to define them exactly. Rose... clear. Carnation... running. But then it stops
The nice thing about "Greenhouse" is that you don't want to depict a single plant/flower here, but rather the greenhouse theme.
I would be lying if I claimed to spend most of my free time in greenhouses, but I am quite familiar with working on and with plants/flowers through my relatives.
When people worked here, it always smelled of plant cuttings, water, earth, flowers...
Let's get to the "cast" of the fragrance:
Leading actress: Griselda Grün - The lady who comes along in a juicy green, slight airs and graces are noticeable, which she has honestly earned due to her status as the main actress
Supporting actor: Erich Erde - Honest, earthy, allows the main actress the space to unfold, but is always ready when it comes to depicting the love for Griselda.
Other actors:
Gisela watering can - wicked stepmother, who Erich Erde never liked Slightly metallic she uses her tips against poor Erich.
Pauline Plastik - As the little daughter of the house, Pauline covers up the healthy family life with a light but pleasant plastic scent.
Benjamin Blümchen - The little wild neighbor boy, who looks like a flower potpourri, contributes the one or other funny scene but in the end remains in the background.
Waltraud Wasser - Is SHE the secret beloved of Erich? Is Gisela right in her suspicion of him?
Waltraud Wasser appears here and there, but in the story she just splashes about.
Durability: The whole strip runs in about 2 1/2 hours and is much better than many a ZDF "Herzkino" film.
Sillage: I would consider the audience rating to be considerable for a Friday evening film.
So what would a film critic say about Greenhouse?
Topic not missed! Could be a surprise hit, but not enough for an Oscar
What do I say? Something similar: The subject of the greenhouse is simply too far away from me, but all the associations I have with it are fully brought to bear. "Greenhouse" is totally wearable and suitable for everyday use, because the flowers are restrained and unisex
It is fresh, invigorating and calming at the same time. He creates images in his head and I think that was his goal.
