The name could cause irritation
But why?
Isn't vanilla GENERALLY defined?
And isn't Hawaiian vanilla a noble variant of vanilla?
Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking when I decided to try "Hawaiian Vanilla"
How is the fragrance to be classified then?
I'll try in my own words.
Up front... The fragrance is clearly unisex and rather meant for warmer days.
But isn't vanilla a soft, warm, cuddly autumn/winter scent?
I agree, except that "Hawaiian Vanilla" is anything but cozy
Responsible for this is a creamy lemony note, which can be recognized directly with the spraying.
This is accompanied by a subtle coconut note.
This leads to the fact that this EDC is reminiscent of a summery, exotic citrus shake with a cream/coconut milk note.
I personally do not associate this with pure vanilla Too many additional components are included for this.
Does it make the smell bad?
But not at all, he's just completely different than expected. I find TLOF`s "Sunshine" much more vanilla
Therefore, interested perfumers should not be deceived by the name.
The shelf life is okay for an EDC. 3 hours you will definitely have some of this scent.
The sillage is discreet but easily perceptible within a radius of one meter.
But the most beautiful is that "Hawaiian Vanilla" smells very valuable.
This is not a matter of course with this kind of fragrances, where you can get fifty vanilla scents (which smell ultra-artificial) for a few euros at DM and Co.
Especially since this fragrance doesn't cost a fortune here either.
I am very, very pleased with the scent!
The only problem...
The scent screams for sun and so I have to wait for spring/summer until the temperatures rise :D
