Incredibly spicy-warm, authentic scent for Christmas lovers
What am I supposed to say to that?
"Pomander" wasn't a word to me before this scent.
Of course I know the pre-Christmas custom of larding oranges & apples with cloves to create a cosy atmosphere.
Of course, that's my cue. I have rarely smelled such an authentic and 0 synthetic fragrance composition in a perfume
This even went so far that I went to my well stocked spice rack to check the authenticity
But one at a time.
I got a 5 ml test spray from Demeter / The Library of Fragrance.
I will do this more often in the future to spare myself durability flops like "Almond".
That was a well invested 5 Euro. Soon the bigger bottle will follow, especially in view of the coming cool and cold seasons.
If you apply the scent, it's like mortaring your spices for Christmas red cabbage.
Cinnamon, pimento, a touch of nutmeg but BEFORE ALL the cloves you blow up your nose
And not in any way restrained.
"Pomander" goes straight into the fullness and remains constant for several hours.
A touch of fruity apple is also added.
The amber note mentioned in the fragrance pyramid I only notice when the fragrance fades away.
The most beautiful thing about this fragrance: It is both a fragrance with which you can create a great, realistic Christmas atmosphere in the apartment/house, but it is also quite wearable for open-minded people.
I am lucky enough to work in an office where my colleagues enjoy analysing, testing and showing interest in my fragrances. In short, being open to new scents
Therefore "Pomander" is definitely tried out in the office.
In the circle of friends one is already times inspired whether the natural grace of this EdC`s.
If you don't like this kind of spice constellation, don't like red cabbage or basically don't want to smell like a spice apple, please give it a wide berth.
All others should give this little unknown a chance.
The Sillage is great, one splash is enough. It will last for several hours, becoming milder and warmer
If you don't like it as a perfume, you still have a great room fragrance for the holidays.
Clean work Demeter/TLOF. SO must be an authentic fragrance.
