By chance, I smell good
I stumbled upon "Junoon Velvet for Men | Rasasi / الرصاصي" by chance.
I was familiar with Rasasi through "Hawas for Him | Rasasi / الرصاصي" or "La Yuqawam pour Homme | Rasasi / الرصاصي," but I had never smelled anything from this house before.
Before my discovery, I was more interested in "Junoon Leather for Men | Rasasi / الرصاصي." Supposedly a good alternative to "Ahojas (Parfum) | Hind Al Oud / هند العود." Since there were no affordable bottles or samples available, I actually ended up with the Junoon sample set from Rasasi itself. 22.5ml divided into 3 fragrances.
One of them is "Junoon Velvet for Men | Rasasi / الرصاصي." Unexpectedly, I came across a wonderful scent, which now also stands as a bottle in my collection.
"Junoon Velvet for Men | Rasasi / الرصاصي" is a sweet fragrance with a bitter gourmand character. The tomato leaf is beautifully integrated into the scent impression and almost merges with the other notes into a walnut facet.
I had already tested other fragrances inspired by "Italian Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Memo Paris." The parallels are definitely present here. However, the sweetness is much more prominent and significantly softens the leather notes. I'm not exactly a fan of strong leather notes, which makes this very appealing to me. Everything feels very smooth and well-balanced. Nothing is bothersome. Throughout the day, I enjoy catching a whiff of this scent on myself.
Longevity and sillage are wonderful. Not too overpowering. Well detectable for over 8 hours.
