It gives its moist, sticky, watery, fresh ginger note directly from L'eau d'Issey and the cooked herbs on heather - with a sea breeze of Cool Water. Very nice grapefruit and lemon opening, very spicy and energetic together with some anislavender. The naturally dried, spicy ginger is a great precursor to the already translucent, sparkling, green vetiver and camphor herb rosemary that gives it a dry, earthy coolness. A perfectly fitted, sticky-sweet, resinous cedar wood with a deep "woodchip" note provides grip and leads to a slightly salty Ambroxan/Iso-E-Super base with a santal tone. Energetic, refined and elegant at the same time, this is a great leisure perfume or an invigorating tonic after extensive training. Good work, but a little too thin and weakly smelling. Half thumbs up.
