Classic Scent
Ahhhh Sauvage! My first interaction with Sauvage was the advert with Mr Depp. Till this day, I associate Sauvage with Johnny Depp. Such a brilliant marketing idea.
The scent was unusual at the time as I had never come across anything like it before. It was like love at first sight! I loved the the ambrox combination with bergamot and lavender. Its always a pleasure to smell this classic scent on a man.
I feel like the character of this perfume is not an overly macho and burly man. It's more of a subtle and classy man's scent. I envisage someone wearing an oxford shirt with sleeves rolled up on a nice summers day.
However, the new Parfum version is nowhere as good as the original 2015 version.
