Classic Scent
Ahhhh Sauvage! My first interaction with Sauvage was the advert with Mr Depp. Till this day, I associate Sauvage with Johnny Depp. Such a brilliant marketing idea.
The scent was unusual at the time as I had never come across anything like it before. It was like love at first sight! I loved the the ambrox combination with bergamot and lavender. Its always a pleasure to smell this classic scent on a man.
I feel like the character of this perfume is not an overly macho and burly man. It's more of a subtle and classy man's scent. I envisage someone wearing an oxford shirt with sleeves rolled up on a nice summers day.
However, the new Parfum version is nowhere as good as the original 2015 version.

Not as great as expected
I bought this as a gift for my BF a couple of years ago when the Creed hype was real. I was bitterly disappointed in the quality, especially after spending over £200!
The opening is nice but the top notes fade very quickly and the heart/base notes are nowhere to be seen after 15 mins. I expected it to last at least the entire day and was expecting an evolution in scent throughout the day but sadly the entire scent faded away after about 30 mins.
Later someone recommended Mont Blanc Explorer as a great alternative.

Love it!
As a female, I love a man with a great perfume collection. It just adds to the persona and makes more attractive.
Acqua di Giò is a real safe bet and has been for awhile now but I've never become tired of its amazing aroma. It's like every time I come across it, a new sensation is felt. The citrusy bergamot beguiles the olfactory senses. Such a sexy combination with rosemary and sage!
