Derivative floral-freshie
Eden-Roc is a beachy floral-freshie that I think is a bit redundant. Every variation of this fragrance has been done, from the very floral, e.g. APOM, to the salty extreme, e.g. Acqua di Sale, and Eden-Roc sits a bit further to the floral side somewhere in the middle. It doesn't seem like a leap in quality either from cheaper fragrances with this same DNA, so not sure what Dior were thinking putting this in the private line at such a high price point. In a vacuum, this is a beautiful salty-floral fragrance but I think in context it's not really innovative or exciting in any way.
