Is the emperor wearing something or not?

I think so - but not much...

If a perfume is already concocted without alcohol, can it be any good?
Well, I do not have to drink it, I thought to myself and tried it in the drugstore, in Douglas, in the department store, again and again, until it finally landed with me old J'adore fan in the perfume cabinet. And I have not regretted it.

In the fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Hans Christian Andersen, two weavers appear at the court of an emperor and claim that they can make him very unique clothes that not only look magnificent, but also have the distinctive feature that they can not be seen by anyone who is stupid or not suitable for his office. So whoever admits to not actually seeing the clothes risks being considered stupid by the others.
If someone here would dare to say J'adore Parfum d' Eau, one of the last Dior creations of the great François Demachy would smell like almost nothing at all or only a little like a good shower gel, would he possibly be considered a philistine in this forum?
Personally, I would even risk that if it were so...

Leg my first "test runs " within a few days with J'adore Parfum d' Eau I also thought, it smells so weak that I would have to spray my entire arms with the oily elixir to have a lasting fragrance around me. But when I tested it again about two weeks later, spraying significantly less, I still noticed this quiet, floral, subtle scent throughout the afternoon, exhaling jasmine sambac, magnolia and neroli despite its milky creaminess, soapy in an elegant and warm way.
In my opinion, the fragrance is perfect for the warm season - I feel with J'adore Parfum d' Eau in hot temperatures clean, fresh and light - while feminine, elegant and well-groomed - also resonates a certain seductive innocence, which is also embodied by the delightful white bottle.
As a reformulation-resistant, notorious J'adore wearer, I also recognize part of the typical J'adore DNA in J'adore Parfum d' Eau. It is a kind of lighter, fluffy cream version, but through the soapy combination of innocence and seduction also has its own refined character.

I find that the fragrance unfolds its understatement charisma best in women from 30 years upwards - open end. For younger women and girls I find him somehow too quiet and subtle.

So the emperor definitely has something on, but for the summer it must not be so much....
