Mariechen is a little minx ;-)
Mariechen says to Mariechen, let me smell Mariechen, so Mariechen let Mariechen smell.
That's the first thing that came to mind with the name of the fragrance. Everyone probably knows the saying, quite unlike the scent itself.
But who is Mariechen?
And why is Mariechen making herself beautiful? Does she have a date, a job interview, an important appointment?
In a philosophical consideration, Mariechen represents the Mariechen in all of us and makes herself beautiful because she enjoys being beautiful and feeling beautiful.
However, our Mariechen doesn’t make herself beautiful in the classic way that the name might suggest, no, this Mariechen (how many times can I actually write Mariechen before the name starts to annoy you?) is a bit different from other Mariechens. She has less than nothing to do with a sparkler. (Although she comes from Cologne)
Mariechen wears leather, initially a fresh-fruity leather jacket with a fine blueberry note and a hint of coconut. Sounds strange? But it’s great in combination. Unusual? Yep, definitely.
Under the leather jacket, Mariechen wears a tight leather dress, rubbed with herbs and wood, which replaces the fruity nuances when she takes off the jacket. Additionally, Mariechen has a cigarette in her hand even though she doesn’t smoke. She simply loves the spicy scent of fine tobacco.
Mariechen is a confident Mariechen and lives her own style, not conforming to the mainstream, which she probably doesn’t find that beautiful. Our Mariechen doesn’t like to adapt to the masses.
When Mariechen (well, is it still not annoying?) is out and about, she is out for a long time, her excursions last at least 8 hours. And she is noticed.

Dear Mr. Manasse, if you happen to be reading this: This is not how it works. Really not. This fragrance contains some notes that I usually don’t like at all (leather, tobacco). But you manage, as you have with other scents featuring rose, to make these notes really appealing to me here. The harmonious interplay, the balance, and the individuality of the fragrance. Mariechen doesn’t just make herself beautiful, Mariechen is beautiful.
This completely overturns my previous understanding of "fragrance note preferences" that I had until now.
And if we briefly note that Mariechen is a "diminutive" of Maria, then this fragrance is even unisex, as Maria is also a male name.
And this Mariechen here will definitely be moving in with me sooner or later ;-)
