A Pleasant Surprise
This one opens up with a pleasant lemon and citruses note that is much less synthetic than that of CDNIM(I had tried the PP for 2 weeks). I do get some mouth watering tartness not unlike that of Supremacy SNOI. It still has some astringency however that is mellowed out quite nicely with a sweet, creamy plum/boozy note which imparts upon the opening a sense of luxuriousness, it does however undercut the freshness but it adds quite the pleasant dimension to the fragrance. The scent remains more or less the same 3-4 hours into drydown as the citruses jostle for position with the smoky notes that start to emerge, again all of this is with a nice creamy/sweet background. after those 4 hours the citrus fades away and we are left with a smooth fruity/sweet plum made more rugged with the persistent birch notes. I personally don't get earthiness and I guess maybe the pleasant edge this one has can be attributed to the rose note.
Longevity and projection are respectable, nothing extreme but it'll last you for most if not the entire work day, lasts on clothes for 2-3 days.
It's basically a creamy, less synthetic, less edgy version of CDNIM PP for almost half the price. Would recommend.
