Don't be fooled

Der erste Eindruck ließ mich etwas enttäuscht, ich hatte nach längerer Zeit mal wieder einen Blind-Buy gewagt und das Opening, was mit hier entgegenschlug mit Vanille gepaart mit einer gewissen Pudrigkeit erinnerte zunächst an einen typisch nervigen, mäßig gut konzipierter Damendurft mit zu viel Süße. Wenn ich einfach nur am Pumpspender rieche, bekomme ich immernoch ein Echo dieses Eindrucks. Allerdings weiß ich heute, was danach folgt:
Einmal aufgesprüht dauert es wenige Minuten und eine gewisse Herbheit löst die Pudrigkeit ab und WOW!, plötzlich habe ich einen Gourmand, der eher durch seine warmen Gewürze als durch die typische Ethylmaltol-Bombe aufmerksam macht.
Wüstensand und Pralinen, das ist, was übrig bleibt und eine magische Kombination erzeugt. Unglaublich warm und dabei trotzdem rau. Anschmiegsam und doch geheimnisvoll.
Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wenn die Tage kälter werden und nich (noch) öfter zu dieser Flasche greife.

Not for me

Blind bought this after watching the hype of the net. All I get is a smokiness like if I get ash on my hands when cleaning out my BBQ in the morning after a night's festivities. The smell is quiet strong which isn't great when you smell of bonfire ash. It starts of smelling smokey and nothing really changes as it smells the same 3 hours later. Gave it away 100% not for me

Althair for Cheap

I was skeptical at first but then blind bought it. Title says it all, I put them both on paper and smell occasionally, results are just amazing. Don't let the opening surprise you, it's the same with all dupes. Let it settle down for 10 minutes. I smell Althair first then LB, can't smell anything else. Then the same with LB, then Althair, no difference. There is any note that is creating a difference and when I smell them both seperately, they smelled the same. No percentage about how close it is, it's just Althair. On skin, on paper, on air, doesn't matter. Bang for your buck kinda scent. Sillage, longevity and all are the same even without maceration. Amazing.

What a board!

Normally I'm not a fan of dupes or cheap fragrances that have obviously taken their inspiration from a "great role model". Liquid Brun throws this principle out the window. After a certain maturing period, the fragrance is even better than the original in my eyes and you have to manage that first. Liquid Brun is spicier, more tart and even a touch smoky in the drydown, which the original doesn't have to offer. A fantastic fragrance with an addictive factor! Liquid Brun adds everything that the original lacks in my opinion, especially the spicy-smoky vanilla drydown is a dream!
