Patchouli scent with "aardvark" effect
I'm notorious with good patchouli scents for not being able to stick my little trunk in deep enough.
If I find one with that heavy golden brown aroma, I want to sink into it.
Some fragrances have already seduced me in recent years, others were really just "nice" or but terrible!
My various comments lay about it yes testimony!
"Patchouli d'Orient" by Durance en Provence is a creation from the category "at it's best!" - tested and not let go again! My little nose pulls it even now again and again in the direction where the small bottling is.
Because here patchouli is really dark, moist and earthy-dirty!
Right at the beginning there is a "scent-cowl" to roll in: oh, would I be an aardvark!
Cleverly, the actually quite ordinary kitchen spices clove and nutmeg were added.
Here it shows once again: the "fragrance ingredients" do not always have to come from far away to form a great fragrance chord. "d'Oriente" there and back!
Dark green and earthy brown appears vetiver and this makes the combination rounder and even deeper. Cleverly dosed warm, sensual vanilla puts the well-scented "grungy package" into snuggle mode - not heavenly here, but wonderfully earthy-dirty!
Did I mention that this whole fragrance beauty of a very special kind is stored on a bed of amber?
Thus, "Patchouli d'Oriente" is a golden-brown, languidly meandering stream of fragrance, which increasingly spreads and deepens, with the radiant amber fuzz particularly prominent.
"Patchouli d'Oriente" is an exceptional fragrance for a truffle pig nose like me.
If it were up to me, I'd start raving about it again right now and get all wrapped up in it; but I won't put anyone through that!
Full-bodied and long-lasting is this "dark fragrance power" and I can only conclude with:
"Patchouli friends, off to Provence!"
