Patchouli Scent with "Aardvark Effect"
With good patchouli scents, it is well known that I can't stick my little snout in deep enough.
When I find one with this heavy golden-brown aroma, I want to sink into it.
Some fragrances have already lured me in recent years, while others were really just "nice" or downright terrible!
My various comments bear witness to that!
"Patchouli d'Orient" by Durance en Provence is a creation from the category "at its best!" - tested and not let go!
My little nose keeps being drawn back to the spot where the small vial filled with dark brown liquid stands.
Because here, patchouli is truly dark, moist, and earthy-dirty!
Right from the start, a "scent dip" forms to roll into: oh, if only I were an aardvark!
Cleverly, the quite ordinary kitchen spices clove and nutmeg have been added.
Once again, it shows: the "scent ingredients" don't always have to come from far away to create a great fragrance accord. "d'Orient" back and forth!
Dark green and earth brown, vetiver appears, making the combination rounder and even deeper.
Finely dosed warm, sensual vanilla puts the pleasantly fragrant "dirty package" into cuddle mode - here not heavenly, but wonderfully earthy-dirty!
Did I already mention that this whole fragrant beauty of a special kind rests on an amber bed? Lavishly poured!
