Vetiver shell or better Vetiver bark or Vetiver bark shavings or grated Vetiver... that's roughly how one would translate the name. It fits quite well.
About 5-6 large drops on the skin (upper body) and wait and sniff.
After a short time, a beautiful and quite strong Vetiver scent develops. I can still vaguely sense the grapefruit peel, while the smoked wood hides in the Vetiver. That works quite well.
There isn't really a significant development of the scent. I am surrounded by a slightly green, somewhat musty-dusty yet fresh aura - just as I expect from a Vetiver.
Vetiver Zest presents a rather natural impression of Vetiver. It is not as oppressive, dense, or musty as the "Vetiver" by Guerlain, nor is it quite as wiry as "Cologne Intense" by Borsalino, and it also lacks other supporting or embellishing components, as found in other, sometimes more complex Vetiver fragrances (Vetiver Fatal, Figaro, Mugler's Cologne...). It comes closest to "Cologne Intense".
The Vetiver aura quiets down, the scent retreats and fades softly.

A good entry-level fragrance for anyone looking to approach the topic of Vetiver, but who doesn't want to be overwhelmed by projection and longevity.
