understated feminine class
the more I wear this, the more I love it. without having known a thing about this fragrance, at first whiff I knew there was something unique and intriguing about this one. straight from the bottle, or on a piece of paper, it definitely can be a bit challenging with the fecal notes that seem to linger the whole time ... but I find on my skin, especially at my pulse points, it's incredibly pretty and beautiful in a somewhat understated, mature way. definitely has a vintage vibe to it that makes me feel like I should dress up for tea and crumpets.
I think, if I were to go to something fancy, I'd wear this alone. but I think it can also provide a good base and add complexity to simpler, more youthful scents as a more everyday sort of thing too.
I was reading around on this fragrance and there have been some comparisons with Frederic Malle's the night. As I have both, I truly don't think they're at _all_ alike! Oudh Infini has way more musk, civet, white flowers and vanilla going on, and The Night has more smoke and alcohol.
The atomizer for this bottle is _dreamy_ by the way. Very fine, generous mist that is satisfying with every push.
