Wow, a fragrance to fall in love with
In front of me is a full miniature of the "Diamonds and Sapphires (perfume) | Elizabeth Taylor". This fragrance has not yet been reviewed here and there is only one statement. The perfume variant seems to have been rather rare. Fortunately for me, I'm dealing with a really great fragrance, so the miniature will get a place of honor in my collection. The shelf life is okay with about 6-7 hours. The sillage is quite successful at the beginning.
The prelude offers directly a wonderful symbiosis of a sea of flowers, a fruit dream and a beautiful soapiness. I recognize lily of the valley, freesia, banana and some strawberry. The heart notes remain wonderfully fruity, floral, soapy but also sweet. Jasmine flowers and ylang-ylang would be discernible here. The base smells woody, sweetish, animalic and balsamic after musk as well as sandalwood.
This is a truly lovely and beguiling fragrance that would please me immensely on a woman.
