good replacement for Kat Von D's Saint
No. 7 (perhaps a knockoff name of Chanel No. 5?) has the typical floral fruity gourmand vibe of most celebrity scents nowadays; it seems like it made its debut after Britney, Jessica, and other scents of the same category. So I feel that No. 7 just followed the trend established before it.
This has a touch of masculinity to it; I'm going to guess it's the sandalwood and musk which keeps the fragrance from being a total sugar bomb. Oh, it's still quite sweet and very strong; but it does have a slight touch of clean in the dry-down.
Although not quite the same, this reminds me of Kat Von D's Saint. Just like Saint, the longevity is rather lacking on my skin...maybe 2 hours at most and that's if I sniff my wrists.
If you are curious to try it, I would suggest buying the purse sprayer first at $20. $70 for 1.7 oz and $40 for the 6.8 oz lotion is rather expensive for something of such poor longevity.
