What the......? I know you!
Normally, I steer clear of Playboy fragrances, or simply ignore them. Except for Play it Spicy, which I unfortunately can't find anywhere anymore, all the ones I've tested so far (especially #generation - ugh) have absolutely not been my thing. They just don't have a "Wow" effect for me.
But I let myself be tempted to test this little purple bunny. With the first spray, I perceive coffee mixed with flowers. I am absolutely not a coffee drinker, and this scent makes me feel nauseous after a while. But the flower-coffee was okay. Not captivating, but quite nice.
After about a quarter of an hour, I sniffed my wrist again, just to see if the scent still lingers.
But what was THAT?
On my wrist, a fireworks display of scent was happening. So exclusive and so familiar. I sniffed again. You know this one! Yes, exactly, you know it! Wait....I have it right away.....
Yes, of course: ALIEN BY THIERRY MUGLER!
Indeed: Behind this purple, unassuming, initial coffee bunny lies a pure Alien dupe in the heart note. Personally, I smell no difference. Even my best friend asked during our evening drinks: "Are you wearing Alien?"
Since "Play it Spicy," another Playboy bunny has moved in with me. Hopefully, it won't be replaced by a squeaky scent :/ maybe I should hoard a few bottles :D
