Will work for Oud!
Attar Mubakar by Swiss Arabian, to me, has a soapy smell upon initial application. This fragrance is very subtle compared to many of the Arabian oils I have been testing lately. This has a barely there Oud and would work for someone who likes a light, clean fragrance with just a hint of masculinity. That person is not me.

Somehow, the fruit and flowers blend in a way that makes them almost undetectable individually but the Jasmine does stand out. AM would be ok to wear on your day off while running errands but I don't find anything special about it. It almost smells like it's watered down but it's very greasy. I think that my nose is having trouble smelling past the Bergamont.

I am in no way an Oud professional but I do not recommend this to anyone who is curious about Oud. Many of the notes listed are either barely detectable or completely missing. You might be better off standing on a median strip with a sign "Will work for Oud" and see what types of donations you get.

Maybe I will come back to this one or maybe I will wait for someone with a trained nose to post a review.

If the request for Oud doesn't pan out, I would willingly accept FOOD!

Mia esperienza
Salvate i vostri soldi, comprate altro.

Flowery attar
There's mostly flowers and citruses on this fragrance. Nice and unisex flowers.

The notes are very well blended here, despite it's a very linear fragrance.

I dont smell any oud here, maybe there's a very light oud note to support the other notes.

Good choice and a very unusual fragrance.

Balsam from the Orient
Oud, Oud and more Oud? That's the trend right now. Should one join in? If so, then at least reach for the right one, straight from the Orient.

Here we have a good, but tamed, unisex perfume oil that has a gentle and unobtrusive beautiful aura. The first impression is a burst of balsamic sweet and fresh notes of bergamot and mandarin. This soon dissipates, without ever becoming intrusive, and glides into a warm heart and base filled with powdery notes, pleasant jasmine, interesting incense, vanilla, and a hint of tobacco. This combination makes the scent exotic. The base notes are medium strong, never overwhelming. A bit of Oud is also present, which simply blends in.

This is a very wearable fragrance if you like a light tobacco note that adds a certain "je ne sais quoi."

Fragrance with Soul
From Swiss Arabian, one is often accustomed to very good scents, the entire 'al Ghutra' fragrances for example, or Al Basel as well as the highly praised Shaghaf oud Abyad are familiar to some.

Attar Mubakhar is clearly the oil version of Attar al Ghutra, which, in contrast to the EdP version
a) develops more slowly and
b) lasts significantly longer.
Here too, there is a good portion of smoke at play, which harmonizes beautifully with the fruity, floral, and woody notes, as no other fragrance in this category can. Arabi Cana, which also represents a fragrance twin, was too alcoholic for me, and by the time I could recognize any of the scent, it was almost gone again. This is different with this fragrance oil; I perceive Attar Mubakhar for many hours, although it quickly becomes close to the skin over time. The sillage is not exactly room-filling; it occasionally wafts into your nose, but not for very long, which is not necessary for this beautifully crafted fragrance, as the components are so beautifully intertwined that it doesn't need to be stronger.

There are many smoky orientals, but not many good ones, which is why Attar Mubakhar is a welcome change, even if it is one I have known for a long time. Everything was done right here; in addition to smoke, there are some other players like frankincense, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla for sweetness, and it doesn't overwhelm you.
Overall, a very wearable and exemplary oud fragrance.

As far as I remember, it's identical to Attar al Ghutra.
Very masculine, smoky & leather-like.
Niche quality at a fair price.

A smoky craftsman soaks a leather rag with pleasant wood furniture polish, initially slightly oily-sweet, Oud is dry, not scratchy,

It's the same scent as Attar al Ghutra from the same house, just in perfume oil form.

Sweet vanilla tobacco with soft balsamic oud and smoky, nutty leather accents. Deliciously subtle and flattering, great oil for winter.
