Flocked & Gilded Euphorium Brooklyn 2018

Flocked & Gilded is admittedly relatively special and knows how to offend. In my experience, it hasn't really gone down well with others in the community. Comments like: "Disgusting", "Boah ih" or even "terrible" have been made.
I don't think he's quite as bad as people outside our bubble.
Nevertheless, I'm not a fan.

I think the fragrance opens quite spicy. I also thought I could smell herbs, especially at the beginning.
But herbs are not listed at all. My nose was probably playing tricks on me here. Furthermore, the Flocked & Gilded has something green and woody for me. I had similar associations with the "Forest" fragrance from the same fragrance house. Not to forget the directly resinous component.

Over time, it becomes increasingly resinous for me and also sweetish and fruity. I can only really perceive the blood orange from the top note now, as well as other overripe fruits.
The honey also gives this fragrance a certain kind of sweetness. There is also a hint of tobacco, as well as a slightly creamy impression that sets in.

Towards the end, the fragrance develops another kind of resinous sweetness for me. It is also still very slightly fruity, but it really feels like overripe, almost fermented fruit.
Unfortunately, I don't like this particular sweetness, this resinous finish at all. It reminded me very slightly (not identically!!) of the Lattafa Raghba, which I also had my problems with.

Overall, I find the fragrance okay. Unfortunately, it seems a bit unrounded to me in general.
I'm not going to be a fan of
Flocked & Gilded.
Nevertheless, there will certainly be one or two who will find it really good.
