Golden age in the Netherlands

Imagine...

The landscape only meadow and water..Mills along the sandy path...a farmer who plows his land
the silence, the wind, and the whizzing of the mill blades...enter the mill and what do you smell?
The spices cinnamon, pepper, the tobacco and the leather....you smell the Golden Age.

That's exactly what you smell when you spray this perfume... a beautiful well blended mix of notes warm, leathery and spicy...a good longevity and silage.

Really worth trying this perfume I'm happy surprised!

I really liked it

I have to say, the Mills is a really beautifully made fragrance that has many facets. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't seem to last quite as long on my skin as I had hoped. After about 7 to 8 hours, I don't notice anything more and I would classify the sillage as rather moderate.

The top note starts off refreshing and citrusy thanks to bergamot and lime peel. This is followed by a sweet gourmand aroma that reminds me of gingerbread. The heart note is predominantly oriental-spicy with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and saffron. The base offers leathery, resinous-woody and smoky notes of opoponax, elemi resin, incense, cedarwood, myrrh, tobacco and suede.

If the Mills were a little more bangin' and eye-catching, it would probably be a candidate for my collection. I would like to thank Sören for the manufacturer sample.
