Winnie-the-Pooh vibes
Unlike many of the honey scents I’ve tried recently, which tend to be very sweet, this one has a much subtler and more balanced sweetness, with more emphasis on the floral and herbal notes. The impression I get is of sipping a warm cup of chamomile tea with honey in your kitchen on a sunny spring day, the scent of wildflowers wafting through an open window. I’m also getting major Winnie-the-Pooh vibes, in a delightfully nostalgic way. Fans of Solstice Scents Gin Flower or Sorce Sit for a Spell should definitely give this one a try. Definitely a more wearable floral honey scent than Fantome Surem in my opinion, at least on my skin.

Sun-warmed flower crown and golden, drippy honeycomb
An exceptional honey note that smells like sunbeams shining through fresh honey on an early summer afternoon. It has just enough depth to make it realistic without too much beeswax pungency that can underline honey notes (I love honey funk and beeswax, but it wouldn't work well here).

I tend to go dark with my scents, but was surprised at how taken I was with Vasilisa's burst of golden optimism. It starts sweet but not syrupy, and blooms slowly towards soft, sun-baked chamomile, sunflower, and grassy hay notes. A trip to the countryside that's a bit wild and barefoot under its niceties - like a May Day celebration you've been invited to but don't fully understand.

It's a spring/summer scent, but I also enjoy it in winter when I'm feeling cooped up or uninspired and need a reminder that warmth and life are around the corner.

Chamomile, hay and honey. A specific early summertime scent, the feeling of a field frolic.
