The adventure calls - cheerful and earthy ...!
Wow ... I'm a bit nervous about my first comment. New here - I enjoy reading all the stylish and often poetic descriptions - and I dare to share my own ;-)
I already have several from Farfalla in my collection. The big downside is that they are quite fleeting - but for me, it's also a big advantage that most of them are very close to the skin - and I can simply enjoy them for myself. What I experience quite strongly with these natural perfumes is the feeling that they "connect" with me, like they merge a bit with me and especially adapt to me very quickly. Sorry - already struggling with the first sentence and can't find better words ... with conventional perfumes (which I also wear occasionally and not ungladly), I have more the feeling of "wearing" a perfume that surrounds me like a sometimes playful, sometimes elegant, sometimes a bit eccentric dress made of lighter or heavier fabric - with the Farfallas, I feel much more that the scent "belongs to me," gently embracing me ... more like a beloved cotton or merino undershirt (yes, I admit it ... I have a tendency towards eco-friendly ;-) ... ).
But back to the description.
Terres d'Aventure right after spraying: A summery breeze from the south - and a fresh, cheerful citrus scent wafts in. A chord of oranges and a bit of lemon and maybe something childishly mandarin-like - and I conjure up inner images of hot days in Italy or Provence, shimmering air over dusty streets and wide gardens, citrus fruits ripened on the plant and sweet, like those that only grow where they really thrive.
Then the scent quickly transitions into something heavier, resinous. Cedar. I immediately recall one of my favorite scent experiences: mountain hiking, and the scent of pine trees basking in the sun. This scent, which is never quite tangible, an idea of it in the air, fleeting yet so present.
Somewhere between resinous and citrusy, the scent finds its balance. More resinous, with occasional splashes of orange.
And then, unfortunately, it is soon over again; a hint of fleeting mountain wind resin scent, very close to the body, accompanies me for a few hours, but not much else remains.
Despite the short longevity, I really like the scent. It somehow suits me.
I feel cheerful and bold, down-to-earth and optimistic, on the go and arrived.
A scent that I wear for myself, to feel good with.
Not like a fancy dress that I want to impress or stand out with.
More like an undershirt, dear and comfortable - and no: Not everyone has to see it from afar.
I find the bottle (in the same design as the other Farfallas) simple and pleasing, especially I enjoy touching the silky matte glass surface. The 10ml size is affordable and practical, and sufficient for my rather low perfume usage. Terres d'Aventure could be the first from Farfalla that I buy in a larger bottle.
For me, "Terres d'Aventure" is currently the most pleasing of the Farfallas. Citrus cheerful fresh and resinous earthy bitter all in one. Like.
