Fantasque, Indeed!

This one is a hidden gem for sure! The bottles are still readily available and dirt cheap on a certain auction site. If you want gorgeous pre IFRA oakmoss, look no further! I was surprised at how much I loved it. I was expecting green and bitter but it's so much softer then I thought it would be and sweeter. That pear note is very obvious to my nose and what
Fantastique really ended up reminding me of was Chanel Christalle EDP! Now it's by no means a dupe, but it has a very similar vibe: dry, green, oak-moss with fruity top notes) I love the bottle I also have and adore the triangular shaped perfume pendant necklace.

Another 80s Gem in the Collection.... Chypre, Woody, Mossy....

.....what more could the perfume-crazy Chypre heart desire?? Another one on top, a scent that makes the nostrils quiver, that makes the "uvula" (original comedian Emil Steinberger) endlessly yearn and rattle, and that makes the eyes roll at the perfume aromas to "half past eight." A feast for all the senses. And once again, the flea market beckons... a full 50 ml in a black bottle for just 7 euros. Scottish, right?? But the scent of "Fantasque" is anything but Scottish. It begins with aldehydes (plum and pear?) citrus and a handful of spices. Flowers, first spring green (bells of the same name), then shifts to evening-blooming white jasmine, oriental orange-hued ylang-ylang, all the way to red like the rose and violet-blue like the iris. A whole colorful rainbow of beautiful scents. And the most important thing: NO PENETRATING SWEETNESS!!!! Multicolored greetings also from the long-lasting "base," which peeks into the scene almost from the very beginning. Sand-colored amber, moist green moss, earth-brown patchouli, light brown-golden sandalwood, and finally: cedars, dark green, with trunk, branches, and needles. I never thought I would find such an "old 80s" fragrance, as far as I know, it is no longer produced. And: paying attention at flea markets often pays off in terms of perfume. I have developed a "magical eye" to "spot" all the fragrance bottles among all the jumble of knick-knacks. So, interested "parfumos": "Keep your eyes open at the flea market... private stands... no 'professionals'....
