Cool older aunt scent
My mother worked at mac through the 90s up until 2014. This fragrance is a part of my collection due to her being instructed to wear it apart of promotion for the fragrance oil set it came with. She hates it, and gave it to me years ago. I can't find it to buy online anywhere, so I never use it.
Like the title of this review, this perfume evokes cool older aunt. It's nostalgic. Reminds me of my Aunt Angela, covered in tattoos. Super unique and unlike anything I've smelled before.
Top notes; She smoked weed earlier and it lingers on the silk of her off the shoulder, zig zag pattern, black and white top. She reaches up to push her thick-framed glasses up the bridge of her nose, then sweeps her cherry red side bangs away from her face, and you can smell something herbal on her wrist. She says its essential oil from a spiritual shop she visited. She's getting into Wicca. She'll give you a tarot reading tomorrow that gives you hope for March.
Middle Notes; The rest of the family hates her, so you can't tell them when you hang out. Her apartment smells like incense and fresh flowers. Geraniums and wilting poppy create a damp, floral scent.
Bottom Notes; Heavily Patchouli. You think it might be from the cleaner she uses on the wood floors. She cleaned them before you got here, and hides a bong behind a cardboard box full of old, poorly framed artwork inspired by buddhism. Your cheek presses against the floorboards as you tune out "The Labrynth" playing on the TV.
