List of Notes sound lovely - but I can't find them in the perfume
The list of notes sound lovely but I can't find them in the perfume.

There is nothing even vaguely realistic in the smell to me and all I get is an artificial smelling almond, vaguely vanilla, kind of musky, a touch powdery, floral in a furniture polish way, slightly citrus in the way that citronella is citrus, a tiny bit watery.

It doesn't wash off very well so is going to be with me for a couple of days.

It makes me feel rather unwell.

Not for me.
This is a fragrance...I'm happy that I got to sample it first, instead of outright buying it. SMH, I fell in love with this fragrance house because of El Born...So gave this a shot.
I am not impressed, this fragrance isn't for me.
And I am willing to trade this if anyone has a gourmand fragrance, in their collection that they're willing to decant and swap me for this.

This smells like; I just picked up my clothes from the dry cleaners...full of starch & etc..
With a hint of fabric softener.
IMO...that's what I get.

I used two sprays...both wrist.

Would I buy this again? No.

Does this fragrance enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? Just okay.

What's the strength of this? EDP.

Am I willing to trade this fragrance? Yes!

Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It?
Sample it first!

Can you use it as a unisex scent? Yes.

Is it the old, new formulation? New.

What's its availability; in production, limited edition or discontinued? In production.

fluffy almonds
A fresh and fluffy cloud of almond sweetness cut into by a fun addition of a celery note. Opens with predominantly sweet and soft almond with what to my nose is a vague dewiness but not overtly floral or rosy. The heart reveals powdery and fuzzy plum skins in subtly with hints of a green and watery freshness in the background from the celery note. You wouldn’t guess celery if you didn’t know any better but it’s noticeable in an enjoyable way. Dry down maintains a sweet almond touch but with an added creaminess with the addition of tonka bean, with remnants of the plum skins from before. An effortlessly fluffy, musky, and sweet scent.

Creamy, Plumy Rose and Vanilla
It has a peppery, nutty sweet opening probably from the rosewood, Geranium and Almond blend. Then it has a juicy, creamy dark fruit centre with the plum and the rose. It is close to Infusion Amande. But rounder, more floral and creamy rather than powdery. Also more deep, rich and amber like with the plum and tonka. Which feels more vanillic in this formulation. It is a very plush, rich scent. Definitely a winter warmer.

Powder Almond Cream
Tardes was on my ML for a long time and now I finally had the opportunity to test it through a dear perfumer. And what can I say! Tardes is beautiful!!!
The first spray landed on the test strip. Clean, powdery, fresh-cool were my first thoughts. After a few seconds I definitely smell almond and heliotrope, I immediately think of Les Pariessenes- fragrances by Guerlain, which I think are so great, but a bit too quiet. The almond- heliotrope combo in Tardes is very powdery but not overbearing, still somehow "bright". I actually don't even find Tardes to be very gourmand either. On my skin, almond comes out clearly, but never overwhelmingly loud.
I also smell the rose, but very subtly in the background. After a few minutes already, it becomes creamier. And at the point: it is to my luck no sunscreen note, which reminds of a pappige consistency. On the contrary, Tardes is delicately creamy, reminding me very much of the same light cream note as in Musk Therapy or Santal Complet. Here, of course, with a completely different scent. This creamy note continues on and on until the musk blends in wonderfully, leaving an indescribably beautiful, elegant almond lotion scent at the end. A fluffy, cool almond cream, somehow light and airy and so good to lie in and feel good. Tardes is for me on the one hand light- casual in a very casual way and at the same time he has a deep, exciting, sensual-elegant side.
A dream of fragrance!

A clean and powdery almond cloud... sweet but just barely dipping its toes in gourmand territory.

Generic, pretty, gourmandish floral. Well blended yet synthetic. Fluffy, nutty texture from Almond + added sweetness from Plums. More fem.

It's like I see a good fragrance in there, but it's just too synthetic for me. I will finish up my travel spray and move on.

Nivea creme cuddliness that goes more almondy-milky-creamy and denser on the dry-down. Has marzipan facets too. Quite delicious actually.

If only I could tiptoed like a mindfield the chemical initial spray and the plasticky middle to get to the pretty and pleasant drydown...

Is anyone getting glue paste? It gives a very synthetic almond with perhaps a bit of vanilla.

Sweet fruity opening like Xerjoff's "Comandante". Drydown like a designer (linear), balancing almond & heliotrope. Unisex, spring/summer.
