I actually just wanted to make a statement about the perfume. However, since the available characters weren't enough, here comes a review after all.
The scent has polarized so much that I just had to get it. I have been following Jeremy Fragrance for a long time, I must say. Ever since I got into this hobby, I've also started watching various perfume reviewers on YouTube. Yes, and Jeremy was one of them, and as everyone knows, he was a unique person. But I thought it was really cool and figured someone whose life mission is to talk only about perfume and someone who has such a broad overview of the market would release an amazing product. By now, I no longer follow Jeremy. He was always a bit different, and not everyone liked his style, but now he has completely drifted off.
I never wanted to pay €160 for a scent that I hadn't at least smelled once. And even so, I find it very hard to pay €160 for any perfume at all. That's why I had closed the book on the whole thing.
I still follow him on Instagram, though. I never watch live streams on Instagram, but I saw that he was doing one and just wanted to take a quick look. There was a coupon code just for the live stream itself. “Buy 2, pay for 1.” That was the moment I thought: “Whatever, just buy it now!”
Now here comes my short and snappy statement:
It is DEFINITELY not worth its price! It’s a mediocre designer scent at a niche price. Bleu de Chanel or Dior Sauvage do the same job and are 100 times better for a much, much lower price. So anyone considering getting this scent: Don’t do it! It’s really not worth it. It’s just disgusting how Jeremy promotes it and claims it’s the “best men’s fragrance in the world.” I really don’t want to know how many people bought this thing at full price.
One more thing. The bottle is truly a disgrace. I have never seen such a cheap presentation as with Office for Men. Starting with the cheap packaging all the way to the cap, which you could easily crush with a snap of your fingers. When you buy Office for Men, you just feel cheated.
I cannot recommend anyone to get this scent. If you want to know how it smells, then buy a decant from one of the colleagues in the souk in the 2ml variant and give the poor seller who bought a whole bottle a fiver on top.
Let people throw their money away on junk. Maybe they'll wake up when they have enough junk and no cash left. Eventually, they'll learn that you have to earn good taste. Not just follow the piper because he plays so loudly. And hope to be recognized by whoever.
Hashtag-Cup :D But I don’t think Jeremy has a grasp on the "entire market." He’s focused too much on too many trivial fragrances and hasn’t mentioned a lot of really good ones.
