Average western oud
Goudh opens, as expected from the top notes, as a very floral-citrusy fragrance. Much too floral for my taste. As it dried down it started to evolve with the generic floral accord very slowly diminishing as the oud, leather and general woody accord appeared. The floral accord started to morph into a stricter rose scent, but I was surprised at how diminished the actual rose became. Was expecting it to be stronger. After many hours, the rose/floral accord disappeared completely and only the oud-woody scent remained. Throughout it's entire life, it's not at all animalic. Longevity was very good, still sniffing it after 9 hours but the projection was more moderate.
All in all, kinda thin and watered down in most respects and too floral for too long for my taste. I prefer something much more aggressive than this.
