Unreachable gourmand goodness
Such a positive surprise! I'm not the biggest fan of indie scents or completely literal gourmands to begin with, some are hits, but many smell rough to me. This is the 4th Ganache I tried and I did not like the first 3 at all (they were from the watermelon collection of summer 2022, if anyone is curious).
But this... So scrumptious! It's warm, it's creamy, it really smells like cookies and almonds with a bit of creamy liqueur and a glass of milk on the side. I can't pinpoint which cookies exactly. Not butter cookies, for sure not oreos or chocolate chip cookies, maybe some crunchy oat cookies, but with a creamy filling and a touch of almond. I must admit that I'm not a cookie expert, I do like them, but I usually pick something else when it comes to sweets.
Anyways, Leche y Galetas is a truly cozy scent. It smells edible, but has enough different layers to make it interesting, and it's very smoothly blended without harsh edges or candle-like undertones.
After I tried a sample I asked on Ganache's site if this will ever come back, and they told me it will, but unfortunately reformulated to be a more perfumey kind of gourmand. I guess I will have to live with the thought that I'll never own a bottle.
