"Caress" - for everyone
What's in a "caress"...?
Every little gesture ... be it in the world of perfumes or outside, is imbued with its own particular set of emotions and associations... a caress, for example, can be a very seductive scene for the wearer...
imagine the hand of a person you love gently touching your skin,
the wind blowing through your hair, your skin lightly covered by the kisses of the person you love,
childhood memories of happiniess, the ice cream you love melting in your mouth and caressing your palate,
the sun beading down and tickling your skin,
the silk scarf you are wearing softly touching your bosom's skin...
Yes, indeed, the name of a scent can be much more evocative than a photo, at least for me.
Now, what about this particular Italian "Caress"? It is first of all a voluptous, charming scent, a floral and romantic fragrance, very sumptuous, full-bodied and bewitching. "Caress" is a perfume which respects its Italian heritage while embracing innovation (note the slight traces of ozone and green notes in the top).
You'll feel spoilt when you discover the similiarities to "Chance" by Chanel, and chances are that you'll fall in love with this inexpensive "caressing" fragrance and its sophisticated opulence laced with rose, jasmine, vanilla, musk and patchouli.
Genny is a great Italian company which brings their sensualityand good taste to their beautiful fragrances, associating Italian elegance with dolce vita. The brand seems to be a little underrated, although they have given us gems like "Genny Classic" and this lovely fragrance from 2003... a warm and sexy "Caress".
