Interesting Facts
Born in Paris in 1929, Georges Rech was interested in luxury and prêt-à-porter fashion from an early age. So it was only a matter of time before he launched his designs. Rech opened his first fashion studio in downtown Paris and, in 1962, wanted to break new ground with his creations. This led him to create "Synonyme," a fashion collection whose individual pieces are perfectly mixed & matched.

The label's expansion began with its first boutique in New York (1978), followed by international branches.

In 1983, Georges Rech introduced another men's collection, "Unanyme". In addition to his ideas of prêt-à-porter collections, commissioned work for well-known partners was also undertaken during this period. For example, the uniforms of the flight hostesses at "Air France" have also come from the "Georges Rech" atelier since 1986.

The founder retired in 1990 and sold his label to a British fashion group under the condition that it remains in his name. In 1997, the prêt-à-porter brand went to an American consortium and, from there to a Japanese fashion brand in 2004.

"Georges Rech" emphasizes the individuality of exquisite taste. From jeans to sportswear to tuxedos, the fashion collection maintains the basic tenor but gives the pieces their unique aesthetics. This gives "Georges Rech" a distinguished position among the current fashion brands.
