Nose Eclipse
I have to swallow. Multiple times. Out of appetite and juicy desire. Eclipse does this all by itself.
It all starts with a slightly nasty note reminiscent of hair spray (who remembers that?), the liquid adhesive of the 70s, when curls were rolled up on curlers and spent hours under the hood. The beginning of the nose eclipse??
But in less than 1 minute, this unpleasant memory is gone, the sun of hairstyle memories darkens, and a sense of well-being rises, a scent, a veil of juicy fruits, unsweetened, real, not sticky, mixed with spring fragrances.
I strongly perceive the freesia, to my great delight - because this flower is, olfactorily speaking, the true bringer of spring for me. Not the many tulips and daffodils, but a bouquet of freesia, yellow and radiant.
These delicate blossoms clear the view to the berries, the fruit, of incredible juiciness, without smelling like compote. It all works! While I can smell the individual components more or less strongly, they form a great whole:
As if it were a new, blooming fruit. Something between pineapple with hints of currants, crowned by a sparkling slice of peach.
Unfortunately, the scent sun slowly re-emerges and overshadows what glowed so deliciously in the darkness of the eclipse.
The hair spray note is unfortunately back. Sneakily, "Gard purple" creeps into my thoughts, I can't block it out, I see Mom sitting in the bathroom with the curlers and the few hairs on top.
This image, this smell unfortunately drowns out the very delicious fruit cocktail.
If I could cut out the first middle part, that would probably be something for me.
Thus, the tendency to wash it off is quite strong to get rid of "Gard." Such a pity.
Yes, there remains a delicate veil of musk and vanilla-like scents - but the way there is, well, a dark one.
Not necessary.
