If zombies smelled like this, no one would run away from them!
Hello you fragrant bunch! Wait, that almost sounds like an insult, as if I were calling you stinkers :D That wasn’t my intention, of course, but since "stinker" is surely a heavy insult for perfumes and fragrance lovers, you’ve probably already fetched the pitchforks from the cellar… you’re really creepy, folks! How fitting that today is Halloween!
In line with that, I have some stinkers for you,… uh,… scent creatures? I’d rather just call them scent bulbs, he he. So fitting for Halloween, we have the Halloween fragrance “Halloween Shot” from Halloween (was that a tongue twister or what? :D). A few days ago, I tried the other Halloween fragrance, namely the original scent of this line, Halloween, also from the brand Halloween (yes, you can count how many times I use the term Halloween here, he he). This one was quite nice, but also a bit too simple, plus it had low longevity and weak projection. Let’s see how this one smells.
Anyway, it’s a shame that Halloween is basically a washout this year; I didn’t even carve a pumpkin, but during the Corona times, especially with the constantly rising infections, it’s hardly any fun, which doesn’t stop me from watching some Halloween-themed movies and stuffing my face with loads of delicious treats like ghost chips and spooky gummy candies, yes yes, even though I’m already ancient, I’m still totally childish. So then, quickly popped the next googly-eyed candy into my mouth, and let’s get started with the scent description!
A nice vanilla-caramel mix enhances the sweetness of the scent and gives it a slightly “darker” aura. Later, the scent remains sweet, with caramel still detectable, along with some nutty notes. The fruity scents fade significantly in the base, making the fragrance feel much more autumnal.
In the end, you mostly just smell the vanilla, which, as always, radiates softly, powdery, sweet, and warm, and here it doesn’t smell any different than in all the lovely vanilla fragrances. All in all, a rather nice scent.
It has turned out surprisingly nice, and I think it should definitely be tried, and not just on Halloween, which would be a shame if one only used a scent once a year, even if one would have the advantage that the bottle never runs out. Especially considering that most here are already much older than I am, they won’t be able to finish the bottle… Okay, okay, today is Halloween, today you can, as written at the beginning, arm yourselves with torches and pitchforks and feel free to have fantasies about “Killing Don Juan de Cat” :DD)

The scent here starts off much nicer than the original scent. It opens with exotic fruits, especially passion fruit. I find the pineapple rather weakly present; you really have to sniff quite close to the sprayed area. At first, the scent also reminds me a bit of delicious candies with exotic flavors like Fritt, Maoam, or Mamba and similar fruit chewing candies. I don’t mean this negatively at all; it just smells nice. Soon, powdery notes and the first floral scents come into play, making it smell more perfumey quite quickly. The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is okay. Still not a knockout, but significantly stronger than the old Halloween scent, so you will be noticed. The longevity has improved significantly, and I could smell the fragrance for over ten hours, which is, of course, thanks to the vanilla. The bottle:
The bottle has the same shape as almost all Halloween fragrances and thus looks a bit bell- or dome-shaped. The glass is slightly tinted this time, making the violet fragrance liquid appear even more vibrant and rich. The cap and base are now gilded. A beautiful bottle. Conclusion:
So, this Halloween fragrance has pleased me much more than the first scent I recently presented here. It simply smells stronger, richer, and nicer. It is especially fruity at the beginning, which might put some off a bit, as it reminds one of the not really bad Escada fragrances. But there’s no reason to be put off, as the scent later continues to smell sweet, but then shifts more towards a powdery-darker direction with a vanilla-caramel mix and also hazelnuts, which make the scent feel more autumnal. And in the end, this fragrance is basically just a vanilla scent. For me, the scent is thus quite autumnal as hinted and can be well used for going out.
