Halloween Man Shot has been on my radar for a long time, now it's finally in my possession. Published in 2016. A flanker of the great Halloween series by Jesus Del Pozo. Here it is listed under the brand Halloween, in former times still under Jesus Del Pozo. Maybe changed for marketing reasons.
I also own the wonderful original from this series, which goes in the direction of 1 million, but is much more fruity. Also the Halloween Rock On, which is also a great Flanker and goes in a similar direction. Man shot is something completely different. You can see it on the registered Duftzwillingen. Roughly speaking, one can say quite clearly: It is a twin fragrance, but in the details many individual changes.
I became aware of this fragrance through the good Jeremy and his partly really good tips. Here, too, he has hit the nail on the head. In the statements I read the word hype three times. Well, a fragrance that has a few statements here and not a single comment, then you can hardly talk about hype. Also so: The smell has a very small Bekanntheitsgrad and is rather an Insider tip. The Halloween original is much better known. The Del Pozo fragrances are anyway very unknown, but still highly recommended in fragrance and performance.
I ordered this fragrance directly from Spain because I wanted an import anyway. The brand is a little better known there than here. The whole line is very cheap. The large 125ml version is usually available between 30 and 40 euros. I paid just over 30 for this size. Is it more than worth.
The big cardboard is very prollig-large with golden writing. The bottle is also very noble with beautiful black and golden lid. Got something.
The fragrance starts fresh and with lots of cardamom. Of course the comparison with LNDL comes soon. The cardamom comes in a combination with a beautiful citric freshness. No 0815 citrus note. According to the pyramid, thanks to Daiquiri, a cocktail of rum. Comes well, especially with the beautiful spicy cardamom note. The iris is also quickly present. A nice powdery note that reminds me slightly of LNDL L'Intense version, but here less carty and more powdery. The powdery note is not too much in the foreground, but rather offers a beautiful background. Fresh sage, which gives a nice freshness. Even a sweet note is noticeable throughout the whole process. Will come through the vanilla, but in combination with the other notes not too vanilla, but perceived mainly from sweet component.
The base also goes strongly to LNDL. Beautifully sweet with a pleasant woody base. Well done.
The fragrance as a whole reminds me of a mixture of LNDL Edt, LNDL L'Intense and a little Salvatore Ferragamo F Black + independence thanks to lemon daiquiri. Top!
Performance goes towards LNDL EDT. Not outstanding but very satisfactory and absolutely sufficient. Especially the Sillage is really good over a few hours and the durability is with 6-7 hours really top, especially in the price range.
Portable to the evening, for dates or also for clubbing. Possibly also in your free time, if you prefer such a type of fragrance.
All in all a fragrance that I can recommend through and through, especially for the small price. Plus he's pretty unknown. If you like F Black or LNDL, you can definitely make a blind buy.
