Not quite so mysterious...

This is my first review and also the first for this fragrance. I won't explicitly address whether individual notes can be detected, I'm not quite there yet with my nose :)

Now to the scent: Right after spraying, Halloween Man Mystery reminds me of a rather cheap aftershave from DM. It smells fresh, slightly citrusy, and a bit spicy. Over time, I get slight vibes from already known fragrances like Office for Men, with more focus on BdC rather than Sauvage. As it develops, the geranium becomes more prominent, as it can also be found in Ysl Y Edp and Le Parfum. Overall, it’s a nicely clean and fresh blue scent with a subtle spiciness.

Now to the exceptional part of Halloween Man Mystery: The longevity and sillage. The scent really lasts all day!! On my skin, I could still smell it even after 14 hours :o

Is the scent an absolute must-have? No! This fragrance DNA already exists numerous times. And yet, especially when considering the price and longevity, it can hold its own against BdC and the "big ones."

Halloween Man Mystery is a fragrance with various facets.
It is sweet, slightly fresh, spicy, and somewhat fruity. Especially for the price, it's really great what you get here.

Moreover, it combines different scents together.
There are indeed several fragrances indicated as similar, and I can partly agree with that.

A bit of Sauvage, a bit of Y, for me there’s also a hint of Sauvage Elixir, and above all, I find clear parallels to DesirToxic. DesirToxic has the same scent directions for me.
Only, DesirToxic seems a bit finer and less sweet to me.
Furthermore, it changes its scent impression more often during the course. Otherwise, they are quite similar.

Halloween Man Mystery starts fruity-sweet with a fresh touch. The first impression already evokes that typical designer flair, but on the other hand, it has something special about it. This sets it apart from many designers, and I think that's great.

Over time, the peppery notes come through, as well as the lavender. These two notes give the fragrance a certain barbershop character.

Towards the end, you feel something slightly dark from the patchouli-vetiver mix. Nevertheless, it is very pleasingly designed and thus actually well-tolerated by every nose.

An Ordinary Day...

... during the week. I sit at the breakfast table, drinking my coffee and eating my roll with hazelnut cream. I also have an orange juice. After I have eaten and tidied everything up, I consider what to wear and think to myself that it must be something mystical given the slightly foggy weather outside.

Upon applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is a citrusy, peppery scent with a hint of lavender. There’s also a fruity note and a generous portion of hazelnut. Following that, a fresh and slightly dark note comes through from the patchouli, which is dried out by the vetiver, giving it a masculine accent.

The longevity and sillage are good.

This is a fragrance suitable for men from around 20 years old who enjoy a scent for every occasion and every season. Ladies can give it a try, but I believe they would prefer to smell this perfume on a man.

Those who like a fresh, spicy, slightly nutty masculine scent will find themselves quite well accommodated here.

Surprisingly Good

You can think what you want about classic fougère fragrances. For a large community, it is the quintessential fragrance category. For many, it's simply old-school and unwearable. But the classic fougère notes repeatedly form the basis for new fragrances that impress when combined with unusual or rarely seen notes.
For example, this is the case with Halloween Man Mystery.

The fragrance benefits from a striking lavender combined with an intense mandarin in the top note. A slightly peppery background and a lovely roasted hazelnut make the heart of the fragrance increasingly sweet and spicy. This development can also be attributed to Cosmofruit. A fragrance ingredient that has a gourmand quality. It gains an oriental and earthy touch from geranium, patchouli, and vetiver.

For me, a successful everyday scent at an extremely affordable price.

After Sports, Freshly Showered

Bought blind together with Halloween Man X and unfortunately my expectations were not met. I purchased both fragrances due to the consistently positive feedback on social media. I expected a bit more, but ultimately received a people pleaser. I think there are many people who will like this scent as an everyday fragrance, perhaps more those who do not place a high value on a special scent but simply want something in the bathroom to smell fresh.
After spraying, the scent starts for me, like the Man X, with the association of a men's shower gel; I miss the mandarin from the very beginning, it does not come through for me, but lavender and Egyptian geranium are present, while pepper and hazelnut are also not yet detectable in my nose at the opening.

For me, the scent smells like someone who has just taken a fresh shower.
