Still searching for that strawberry scent!

Well I'm disappointed. I was really hoping my skin would pick up this amazing strawberry, fruity gourmand scent I've seen people raving about, but it was not the case. At first spray I smelled this weird sour strawberry alcoholic beverage on me. I think the strawberry got drowned out by the tart cherries and raspberries. After this initial scent dissipates I'm left with this generic and synthetic perfume smell. I think I could pick out a bit of jasmine and violet, but there was this weird plastic accord that came through. After a good hour, things finally began to settle. I could smell tart fruits: not the sweet-smelling yummy ones, but the almost over-ripe sour ones. I did sense the musk trying to turn everything in this soft feminine perfume. Jasmine and violet were nowhere to be smelled although I did detect a small aspect of creaminess (nothing that was really a wow factor though). After about two hours, it ended up smelling like expensive strawberry shampoo: synthetic but fruity. It became a bit nicer, but it wasn't enough to save everything.

I will certainly not be getting a bigger sized bottle. I'm still very disappointed as I was hoping I could add a nice strawberry and fruity perfume to my collection. This won't be it.

Disgusting synthetic strawberry air freshner

The 2nd most disgusting perfume I have ever smelled.

It smells like a nuclear synthetic strawbery air freshner and people around me thought the same, so trying this perfume has made me wonder about perfumery and people tastes.. like one of the most beatiful things in the world is diversity and people have difference tastes and we have to respect them but with this one I cant understand it and I dont get what was MFK thinking T-T

Sorry for the people who loves it, I hate giving this kind of statements, but it is one of those that gave to me such a strong physical reaction that I have to exorcice it. I hate cheap synthetic fruits in my perfumes and this one has too much

Synthetic but Sweet

There is a note here that I can’t get past. It reminds me of a friend that loves gourmand fragrances and who smokes pot and those two scents blended together is stuck to her car seat. It’s that. However it is a lovely fragrance if synthetic notes don’t bother you. I prefer this in the colder months.

A Little Bit Bubblegum

This is better than expected. This is like a whiff of bubble gum or fruity soda. I say whiff because it isn't overpowering like I expect from most fruity "feminine" fragrances, it has an airiness to it. Its a light, sweet, and fruity fragrance with a hint of tartness. This is very feminine leaning and I would say its good for young girls as well as older women. Its well made, its not synthetic or super sugary, a pleasant surprise.

It has a scent bubble, so it lifts off of the skin just enough to be noticeable to those close to you. Unfortunately, it didn't have great longevity. I would say this maybe lasted 3 hours on my skin. There are several sizes available, a 100ml is $168, a 50ml is $135, and a 30ml is $105.

What's a gourmand.. finally?

Lately, I'm used to hate popular perfumes and love the hated ones so, don't get me wrong. I guess that's my nose not working properly.

So, when I saw the notes of this perfume I was so excited and thought it would be a nice candidate for my next signature.
It let me down..
As a gourmand lover let me explain how I rank my perfumes into this category. Gourmand means that not only I'm smelling a specific note, but it makes me wanna eat "myself" when I'm wearing it.
I don't really get a lot of red fruits, just strawberry, but not the edible one. The one I smell in my car freshener. I don't get the Cotton Candy.
Is it a Gourmand? No
Is it creamy? Noway
Is it a fresh/clean? No
Is it heavy? No
Is it light? No
Is it balanced? Yes, but for me a perfume that fails to impress.
